Thank you to everyone who shopped at Tesco Haverhill or who gave us tokens or receipts to take there. Your efforts were well rewarded as we have received a grant towards the costs of the fair.

Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its Bags of Help funding initiative, which sees grants - raised from the 5p bag levy - being awarded to thousands of local community projects every year. Voting ran in stores throughout May and June with customers choosing which local project they would like to get the top award using a token given to them at the check-out.

Many local people and businesses have also made generous donations for the fair and they, and the Tesco grant, mean we have some wonderful stalls and entertainment with free entrance to all residents and friends.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, 27th August from 12 noon on the Recreation Ground.
