Cambridgeshire Constabulary have issued reports of 8 crimes since the last eCops update.
1 x Burglary in a dwelling- occurred between 8.00pm on 21/07/and 5.30am on 22/07. Unknown offenders have forced an outside key safe and used this to gain entry to the front door. Victim has shouted out and disturbed the offenders. Nothing appears to have been taken at this time. Finger prints taken have now identified a possible suspect for this crime and will be investigated.
2 x Burglary’s in a dwelling- occurred on the 24/07/2014 between 7.45am and 4.40pm On Albert road Unknown suspect(s) have entered via the front door which may have been insecure or a 'bump key' method used. The other burglary on Stow road entry was gained via the rear kitchen door where a jemmy was used.
1 x Burglary in a dwelling –occurred between 20/07 and 28/07 between 10am and 5.00pm unknown persons have approached the rear of the property and have jemmied open a rear ground floor window. Entry gained and untidy search conducted. An amount of jewellery and personal items have been taken, Credit card and keys removed.
1 x Theft of Conveyance- occurred overnight between 9.00pm on 27/07 and 9.00am on 28/07. Unknown persons have attended boat house located at the bottom of aggrieve d’s garden. A 15ft boat that was tied up there has then been stolen.
1 x Theft from Motor vehicle -occurred on Station Road, Stow cum Quy, between 3.30 -6.00pm on 02/08 unknown offender(s) has used unknown means to smash the rear quarter light window to victims car a green Vauxhall Astra index FP02 OVH whilst parked locked/secured in a layby on Station Road, Stoke On Quy, Bag stolen from front seat.
1 x Robbery happened near to A1303 on Newmarket Road, Stow cum Quy at around 3.10pm on the 10/08 Victim shares a taxi to Newmarket from Cambridge with two other males unknown to him. One of these males then assaults him by punching him to the head. Victim’s phone has then gone missing whilst he tried to defend himself by punching offenders back. Taxi Company is Camtax enquiries on going to identify driver.
1 x other criminal damage –occurred between 5.00pm on 18/08 and 8.30am on 19/08 in Abbott’s way, Horningsea Unknown offenders have smashed 2 x bowls that were in the front open plan garden at location. Bowls were used for food and water for birds and were left at the scene.
