The Fen Ditton village sign on High Ditch Road may be being moved. Its current position causes a hazard to residents in the nearby houses by blocking their view of the road when driving out of their drive.

Parish councillors and the parish clerk pointed out this hazard recently to a member of the County Council’s Street Management team on a recent walkabout who agreed it should be moved. The suggestion was for it to be moved to the other side of the bridge. We are waiting feedback from the Street Management team for more details.

Unconfirmed information suggested this problem had been identified some time ago during the planning process for the nearby houses, but seems to have been overlooked.
