Since the letter that was delivered to residents recently, it has been confirmed that the contractors' working hours on widening the path will be roughly 7.30am to 4pm, with a diversion route via Ditton Lane between these times.

However, the path will not be closed 24/7 but will be reopened at the end of each day and at weekends (and from 12 noon during the Bumps). It is also likely that the works will be completed in less than the 8 weeks mentioned in the letter.
